Why do we do what we do?

Why do we do what we do?

One of the most heartbreaking things I hear is “this is the most stressful thing ever.”

You have dreamed about getting engaged. That day has come and gone, You have probably dreamed of your wedding day even longer, maybe even have some plans that you have had for years.  You may not have had your wedding planned since sixth grade like I did (waayyyyy before Pinterest or even computers) but you have had an idea or vision of how you want that day to play out. Or, you may have your full Pinterest Perfect wedding planned (now how on earth do I pull that off).

Once you say “yes” You have now officially heard the starter's pistol to start the race of wedding planning, is it a sprint, is it a marathon? How do I pace myself, what do I do, who is my coach?  Do I listen to my friends, my family, my family to be?  Oh yeah, don't forget Pinterest and Instagram. Ahhhhhh!!! Don’t get frozen in the starter block, the first rule is breath – you will need to remind yourself of this frequently during this process.  Once you take a deeeep breath, remember This should be an exciting time.  A time to look forward to spending the rest of your life with the one you love. And during that time, you are going to plan a celebration to honor that.  So, how can you plan that celebration with as little stress as possible?

Yes, there will be many decisions to make BIG and small now where are you going to look for advice, guidance and support.
